2010 in full flow.

I'm finally back blogging again, despite being busier than ever!!
After a hectic Easter weekend my quail are now enjoying their spacious living quaters again - although a fox has tired to dig into the ark already!
The effort and extra greens (and apples) have already been rewarded with the first egg of 2010 which I'm, naturally, very happy about. I can't wait for the rest of the females to get the egg laying habit again.
I've got enough space for another 15 or so birds so may well kick start the incubator into life soon and see what I can hatch, there's also plenty of Spätzle to be made for my family of four - there were only three when I last blogged but Robert james West joined us on the 02.02.2010
I've been thinking about getting a duck or two but think they may have to wait another year or so, we'll see.....
